As you grow older, leading an active lifestyle is more important than ever. Regular exercise helps seniors maintain health, boost energy, and improve confidence. JoJo on the Go Fitness offers several programs aimed at helping seniors maintain an active lifestyle.


Zumba Gold
The Zumba® Gold Fitness program is second to none. It is an innovative, fun and exciting program.  It was designed for the active older adult, the true beginner, and/or people who are not used to exercising.   There is also a chair version for people who may be limited physically.  This amazing program is very easy to follow so anyone at any age will be able to participate in the Zumba Gold classes. Dances that are specifically highlighted in this program include the Merengue, Salsa, Cha Cha, Cumbia, Rock & Roll (including Twist and Charleston), Belly Dance, Flamenco, and Tango.

Senior Muscular Strength Range of Motion
This is a total body conditioning class.  Exercises are presented for the upper body and lower body focusing on muscular strength, range of motion, and activities for daily living.  This class is designed to improve the participant’s functional capabilities,  physical fitness level and well-being.

Senior Cardio Circuit
This class mixes circuits of low impact cardiovascular training with circuits of muscular endurance conditioning using dumbbells and elastic tubing as resistance.  This is the more intense class and is geared for participants who can stand for the duration of the cardio and conditioning workout.

 
  Senior Yoga Stretch
This class presents a blend of yoga styles aimed at improving flexibility, balance, muscular strength and breathing. This class adapts traditional yoga techniques with the senior in mind.
